How wonderful for you, Michka! I'm assuming that there was a French translation before, but this is new because of the Lee illustrations? Or is this a new translation?

Oui, c'est un nouveau texte avec des noms transformés par rapport à mon livre précédent, j'ai vu l'information dans un illustré sur le cinéma dont je suis lectrice habituelle, une publicité pour le magazine ''LIRE'', et je me suis tout de suite intéressée ,renseignée, et acquis immédiatement cette édition différente , mais fidèle à Tolkien, et les images de Lee sont plus belles et plus nombreuses que dans la précédente édition. Je me régale

Was anyone aware of the imminent publication of this new Tolkien legend? Apparently it is a pre-cursor to the eventual development of the story of Turin and The Children of Hurin. I've ordered a copy.

Très heureuse de pouvoir communiquer, et souhaiter avec vous un bon anniversaire au professeur Tolkien, ainsi que boire à sa santé posthume toujours actuelle et méritoire, tchin, tchin!!
