By all means I'm not saying to stop discussing the current topic, I'm just finding out if everyone is ready to start reading ahead. :D

Alright then :D I'll try to have a thread for both A Description of the Islands of Numenor and Aldarion and Erendis. The first chapter is so short I think it best to have the two chapters at the same time.

Say Sunday, May 24th. I'll shot for that date if everyone agrees. :D

Thanks for doing this for us, Philipa. I'm enjoying your introductions and the illustrations you find!

Thank you Merry. Often times I feel the introductions are just my ramblings and relevant illustrations are very difficult find actually. Not many non-Lotr/hobbit art is out there. I've had to rely on the professors own work.

It's nice to see it anyway! You'd be hard pushed to find something that really fitted!

Now let the song begin! Let us sing together
Of sun, stars, moon and mist, rain and cloudy weather...

Should we be moving on to the next chapter? It's The Line of Elros, not the most interesting of chapters, but after that we get one of the most fascinating ones!
