I guess bruce rerek has gone off into the Wild again, so I'll give the next quote!
Who said, "There are no folk like hobbits after all for a real good talk"? _________________ Sing and be glad, all ye children of the West,
for your King shall come again,
and he shall dwell among you
all the days of your life. |

I'm guessing this is Bilbo in Rivendell -- FotR _________________ "Elan sila lumenn omentielvo" |

We seem to be all alone in here, serinde!
I'll guess the speaker is Legolas. It might have been Gimli, but I don't think he would have made such a perceptive remark. _________________ Sing and be glad, all ye children of the West,

Sam to the reluctant Gollum he was trying to send on an errand for the third time. _________________ Many live who deserve death; some die who deserve life--can you give it to them, Frodo? Do not be so quick to deal out death in judgment. Even the wisest cannot see all ends. |

It's good to be back after an awful year! Like coming home. Now for the quote--"I left a fool." _________________ Many live who deserve death; some die who deserve life--can you give it to them, Frodo? Do not be so quick to deal out death in judgment. Even the wisest cannot see all ends. |

Welcome home, then! I remember you telling us about some of what happened during the past year, but I hope all is getting much better. I'm not just saying this to be thematic, but I find that reading Tolkien soothes the soul in troubled times!
And I don't know the speaker of your quote. _________________ Sing and be glad, all ye children of the West,

Thank you Merry--it is getting better in most ways. Now for a hint--it's a bad guy in TTT. _________________ Many live who deserve death; some die who deserve life--can you give it to them, Frodo? Do not be so quick to deal out death in judgment. Even the wisest cannot see all ends. |
